Our Mission

The Acushnet Project is a 501(c)3 corporation

formed to convert the historical Acushnet Coast Guard Cutter, with it's long history of helping save lives, into a housing and training center for housing-challenged veterans.

Our program is designed primarily for veterans who are in need for housing and job or skills training.

We are not a shelter. We are a veterans training program.

Courses for job training and housing take place on the retired Coast Guard Cutter Acushnet.
